<TIAMAT> *It's late evening, around 11 or so. The torture room, which I figure Gulzak and his crew use as sort of a hang out at times, is dark and dreary and damp and rather cold. The walls are lined with chain and there are various pieces of torture equipment sitting around, some in better shape than others.

<JETMODE> *Just outside, Donna and Kevin are having a tense, quiet argument about who's going to tell Gulzak the bad news. :D

<JETMODE> <Kevin> You're the one who found out to begin with --

<JETMODE> <Donna> *hiss* You're the one who saw them!

<TIAMAT> *Gulzak is lounging in one of the broken chairs once used for some nasty deed. In the middle of the room is a circular table with several normal chair set around, presumably for when the whole gang gets together.

<JETMODE> *Donna finally shoves Kevin in ahead of her, hissing to herself.

<TIAMAT> *Anyway, Gulzak glances up when they enter, snorting to himself. "Took you two long enough.

<JETMODE> <Kevin> *with a cutting look at Donna* Sorry, Boss.

<TIAMAT> *Gulzak gets up -- he's bigger and taller than Teal, even -- and waves a hand at them. "Nevermind, what did you find out?

<JETMODE> *Donna folds her arms, looking at the floor.

<JETMODE> <Kevin> Well, you see.. Donna's the one who found out first, but she wanted to wait for solid evidence --

<JETMODE> *Donna hisses at him.

<TIAMAT> *Gulzak's eyes narrow threateningly. "Spit it out."

<JETMODE> <Kevin> They're definitely it, boss -- saw 'em kissin' in the hall outside her room.

<JETMODE> *Donna has unobtrusively stepped behind Kevin. :D

<TIAMAT> *Gulzak stands there for a moment, face messing up in anger, then he roars furiously, taking one of the wooden chairs around the table and flinging it at the wall. Narrowly avoiding Kevin.

<TIAMAT> *Gulzak: How DARE she!

<JETMODE> *Kevin and Donna take cover as subtly as possible, Kevin yelping platitudes. "Dunno, boss! I just don't get it myself, boss!" Donna rolls her eyes at Kevin.

<TIAMAT> *Gulzak ignores Kevin and Donna, storming around the room, cursing and kicking random things. He finally settles down after a few moments, still breathing hard. "That boy -- what was his name?

<JETMODE> <Kevin> *pokes his head out* Uh.. Kender Oanesdale. He's a training to be a Beast Master.

<TIAMAT> *Gulzak spits at that. "Beast Master! Puny little human, I'll break him in half!

<JETMODE> *Donna rises easily, smiling in her snake-like way. "Of course you will, boss. He wouldn't stand a chance."

<TIAMAT> *Gulzak snorts "Oanesdale, sounds like some kind of country hick! I've never even heard of this brat before, what's he like?

<JETMODE> <Kevin> *laughs a little nervously* You got him pegged about right there, boss ... he's always out at the stables, even, and he carries a cat around.

<TIAMAT> *Gulzak: Where's he live?

<JETMODE> <Donna> He's renting a room with another boy at Lady Gwen's.

<TIAMAT> *Gulzak: Gwen's, huh... *he starts pacing a bit, thinking.

<JETMODE> *Kevin and Donna exchange glances and wait quietly. Kev's ears are twitching with nerves.

<TIAMAT> *Gulzak's getting a twisted sort of glint in his eye, grinning ever so slightly. "I'll be damned if I let some bumpkin take Whisper -- mark my words, she will be mine, one way or another! *he rounds on the two, glaring once again. "Now get out of here, I've got work to do.

<TIAMAT> *A twisted, mad sort of glint. ^_^

<JETMODE> *Kevin and Donna stare at him blankly for a moment.

<TIAMAT> *Gulzak goes back to pacing for a moment, then notices the two still there. "I said, get out!

<JETMODE> *At the second yell, they scatter hurriedly, each harboring deep concerns about what he might be planning.
